Even though "The Magician's Nephew" was the sixth book published by C.S. Lewis, it was actually meant as the prequel of the infamous The Chronicles of Narnia series. It is the story of young Digory and his friend Polly who, with the help of three magical rings, set out on a series of adventures through mythical kingdoms and enchanted lands.
Previously in 2006, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" was staged at the old On Broadway Theater. We are happy to continue the trend of staging Children's Theater with the inclusion of this play, adapted by Aurand Harris.

ABOUT THE PLAY:
"Nunsense A-Men!" Think of the original "Nunsense" show but only this time with all the characters portrayed by men! No, not drag, but more like "Mrs. Doubtfire enters the Convent." First performed in Brazil as "Novicas Rebeldes," this version premiered in New York in 1998. Receiving rave reviews and standing ovations subsequent productions have boasted such stars as "Laugh-In's" Arte Johnson as Mother Superior and Olympic Champion, Greg Louganis as Sister Robert Anne. A whole new layer of comedy surfaces with lines like "The guys in the old neighborhood still can't believe I became a nun!"
To quote the New York Times: "A change of habit, boy oh, boy!"
