OBT Box Office

Tickets may be purchased one hour before each show at the box office inside both the Egyptian Theatre & Gussies Restuarant. Credit Card orders are NOT accepted at the front door. CC orders are handled exclusively through a third party ticket outlet, (see green button below).

Ticket Alternative hosts all advance tickets, online sales, and credit card sales for us. Their site is encrypted and safe for all credit card transactions, with prices subject to an additional service charge (cost of doing business with a third party). Please DO NOT E~MAIL OBT any credit card numbers. Instead, you must go directly to Ticket Alternative's website and order tickets there. (see green button below).

**Important Note: Please bring PROOF of online Ticket Purchase (like print-out of confirmation #) along with you to show Ticket Agent at Egyptian/Gussies Box Office door. Otherwise you risk having your purchase not honored.

**IMPORTANT: On phone orders, be sure to specify tickets are for "The On Broadway Thespians."

Tickets & General Info

General Information:

• Show Time: Doors open one hour prior to performance. There are no refunds for latecomers so please be on time. Regular show times are as follows:
  Egyptian Theater: Friday & Saturday evenings at 8 pm with Sunday matinees at 2 pm.
  Gussies Dinner Theater: Friday & Saturday eves. with Dinner at 6:00 pm and Show at 7:00 pm.
  Sunday matinee with Luncheon at 1:00 pm and Show at 2:00 pm.
• Locations: The On Broadway Thespians now perform at two locations~
  Egyptian Theatre: 229 S. Broadway, Coos Bay (downtown waterfront, across from TJ Shaws diner on Highway #101)
  Gussies Resturant: 1088 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay (across from the Empire 7-11)
• Handi-Cap Access:
  Egyptian Theatre: main auditorium on ground floor is wheelchair-accessible; however restrooms and balcony located on the second floor are not. This Theater does not yet have an elevator.
  Gussies Resturant: wheelchair access located at front of building (facing Newmark), along with wheelchair accessible restrooms.
• Parking:
  Egyptian Theatre: Free parking usually available in lots north, and east behind the Egyptian theater.
  Gussies Resturant: Free parking available in lot located behind Gussies Restuarant, and along N. Schoneman street.
• Recording Policy:
  No flash cameras or recording equipment allowed during performance please.
• Other Mechanical Devices: We ask that all Pagers, Cell Phones, Wristwatch Alarms and the like be turned OFF during performance.
• Smoking/Alcohol Policy:
  In compliance with the Oregon Indoor Clean Air Act, there is no smoking allowed inside the Egyptian Theater (lobby, auditorium, restrooms, backstage, etc.), or in Gussie's Dining Room/Stage area. Smoking & alcoholic drinks are confined to Gussie's Bar/Lounge area designated by a separate wall & door.
• Courtesy:
  At the request of patrons with environmental allergies, we ask that you be sparing in your use of scents. Likewise please refrain from whispering, rattling through shopping bags, and unwrapping paper/plastic wrappers during performance (with exception during Gussie's Dinner Theater).
• Trash/Recycle Bins:
  There are Wastebaskets available inside the Egyptian Lobby next to the Concessions area, as well as several strategic areas located within Gussies restuarant. Please help out by using them.
• Restrooms:
  Located upstairs above the Egyptian's main Auditorium, and on the ground floor inside Gussies just around the corner from the ticket booth/lobby area.
• Evacuation Policy: In the event we must evacuate ~
  Egyptian Theatre: the Director, House Manager, and/or Ushers/Concessions staff will direct you to the nearest exits. Besides the front door from which you entered, there are also additional exits located at the back of the main auditorium as well as upstairs that lead safely out onto the street.
  Gussies Resturant: the Director, Ushers, Dining staff will direct you to the nearest exits. Besides the front door from which you entered, there are also additional exits located at the back & sides of the Dining Room area, as well as Bar/Lounge area, that lead safely onto the street/parking lot.
• Backstage Tours:
  for the Egyptian Theater can be arranged.
  Please inquire directly with the Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association at (541) 260-1033 to make arrangments.
• Credit Card orders:
  accepted ONLY through our online Ticket Alternative outlet OR via their phone service. (see green button above). Otherwise at the door it's cash, check, money order/traveler's cheque.
• Ticket Alternative Proof:
  As a third party (Egyptian/Gussies) is now involved, OBT tickets purchased online/over the phone with Ticket Alternative will now require "PROOF" of purchase in order to be honored at the Egyptian Theatre & Gussies Restuarant. Please bring print-out of your confirmation # provided by Ticket Alternative.
